This wine is complex and brooding, both in the nose and on the palate. The aromas are indicative of black forest fruits, graphite and supple oak. The mid palate is full and creamy, with flavors of blackberry compote and toasted caramel. The finish is long and lingering with rich, round tannins and a vibrant character making it great for drinking now and also giving it the ability to age for 7-15 years.
