The 2014 Napa Valley Cabernet is sophisticated and elegant - it will evolve graciously over time. It is a great example of a new world (Napa) wine made in an old world (Bordeaux) style. The rich, blackberry and pomegranate aromas jump out of the glass, with more nuanced notes of minerality (graphite), soft cedar and cocoa. The flavors are framed by muscular tannins and the wine is bold and balanced. While it is drinking well now, it will age beautifully. Your patience will be rewarded with this one!
