Taylor Family Vineyards' Hillside Chardonnay is made in a very old-world, Burgundian style. It delivers Apricot, Green apple, Bartlett pear, and Orange Blossom with hints of Clove and a touch of toasted Oak. This highly aromatic wine is richly balanced with bright acidity and a silky texture. Enjoy now or over the next decade.

Family Favorite Pairing: Salmon Rillettes

Vineyard Notes
Taylor Family Vineyard’s Chardonnay is grown in the Oak Knoll region, well known for its elegance and bright character and acidity. In 1973 Chateau Montelena purchased the fruit from this vineyard and in 1976 the fruit made it’s way to Paris for the very famous Judgment of Paris. After taking first place in the tasting, Napa Valley Chardonnay quickly became popular. Winemaker Gustavo Brambila was working for Chateau Montelena in 1976 and was reunited with this beautiful fruit in 2010.
